Second Prize: Vladimir Kazanevsky
Ukraine

Vladimir Kazanevsky was born in 1950 in Lebedin, Ukraine. He graduated from Kharkov State University with a degree in Cosmic Radiophysics in 1973 and later from the Kiev Institute of Journalism Skill, specializing as a press artist, in 1984. An internationally acclaimed cartoonist, he has received over 500 awards in international cartoon competitions across 54 countries, including the prestigious Kofi Annan Courage in Cartooning Award in Geneva in 2022.

Third Prize: Marco De Angelis
Italy

Marco De Angelis (born in Rome, Italy, 1955) is a professional journalist, cartoonist, illustrator, and graphic designer. Since 1975, his works have been published in over 200 newspapers worldwide, including La Repubblica, Il Messaggero, Washington Post, and Le Monde. He has illustrated numerous children’s books for major publishers and collaborated with leading media networks such as RAI and Telemontecarlo. Winner of more than 160 international awards, including the Golden Palm in Bordighera and multiple Council of Europe Prizes, he is also Editor-in-Chief of the online humor magazine Buduar and a member of Cartooning for Peace and France-Cartoons.
